What you can expect back

Employers who follow Good Faith Hiring commit to:

  • showing the pay, the location and whether they sponsor visas in the advert
  • telling you which requirements are must-haves
  • acknowledging your application within 5 working days, and telling you how to ask for adjustments
  • giving you an outcome within 20 working days, or a date when you’ll hear
  • giving you at least one real reason for their decision if they interview you

You can find employers who’ve been checked on the adopters list.

If you have a disability or health condition

The commitments never ask you to rule yourself out because of a disability or health condition. If you’d need a change to the location, the days, the way a must-have is met or the interview format, apply and ask. That’s a reasonable adjustment, and you can ask at any stage.

There’s nothing to sign up to

You don’t need to register or tell anyone you follow it. Just use the checklist.
